GoPro HERO6 Black customer reviews

Novelty received a sensor with a resolution of 12 megapixels and the ability to shoot photos in RAW or JPG. Video recording is supported in a resolution of 4K at a rate of 60 frames per second or slowed-down 1080p-video at a rate of 240 frames. Thanks to support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac standard, footage can be transferred to a proprietary application on a smartphone.

In Hero 6 Black, the company first used its own GP1 processor, which increased the speed of the camera and the quality of the resulting image. It is noted that digital stabilization and shooting of video in poor illumination has improved.

Another important feature is that the camera body has moisture protection and can withstand submersion to a depth of 10 meters without using special cases. It should be noted and the function Quick Stories - short videos are automatically mounted in full-featured videos.

First I would like to share that I am a full time professional photographer and until the Black Hero6 is released.

Now, with few improvements in the light and the fact that it's flat, it's really a huge advantage for my work! What I mean by pulling flat, I got with the GoPro Hero 5 Black edition and that's a good thing! They are the dynamic range is improved, less clipping in the highlights and more information in the shadows, you can get the look you want. But that's not what I needed for that.

I am a unique shooter, which means I work alone, even covering weddings. I've always done mixed media with my Nikon DSLRs, which meant I'd go from one photo to another. Now, I will not even pretend that the GPH6B competes with the capabilities of pro-body digital SLRs, BUT I can use both at the same time. A recent client asked me if I could take pictures of things like ring swaps, first kiss, bouquet throwing etc ... AND include short video clips of these critical moments? Well, actually, yes, now I can do it.

During wedding ceremonies, I do not use a strobe on the top of the camera, I do not want to disturb the sacred moments, nor be part of the "action" at the altar. The solution is that I can put the GoPro Hero6 on my Nikon claw, I adjust the field of view etc. to 1080p Narrow 30 fps.
Wherever my camera shows special photos, the GoPro is filming and, with the field of view set to shrink, you do not see your 70-200 zoom lens, even with the blind / lens hood in place.

I stay a one-person-show and do not make a show at weddings or performances, AND I receive videos and stills without switching from camera to camera. GoPro HERO6 Black is finally for truly professional workflows. I'm so happy to have it!

Micro SD Card Micro SD Card Micro SD Card Micro SD Card The problem is that they often sell this camera in a package that includes a micro SD card that does not meet the minimum performance requirements of the Hero6

When you go to the GoPro site, there is only UHS 30 (V30) video speed class - ≥32GB

I did not want to use an unmarked "Extreme Pro" card by SanDisk. and I recommend that you do not get a card smaller than 64GB. In 4k mode, a 32GB card will be used in the blink of an eye depending on the selected frame rate.

Your read / write speeds will avoid problems with data logging. AND, in post-production, you unload your video data much faster and time = money. If you do not use approved cards, do not complain, it's the operator, not the hardware.

I would definitely recommend this camera to amateurs and pros who need to add to their image arsenal. Five stars to say the least.

I've been experimenting with buying GoPro since they launched the third generation. But it was too expensive for me at the time, or I thought it might be better. I bought the Hero5 goal to wait until they were able to shoot 4K video at speeds of up to 60 frames per second and 1080p video at 240 frames per second, and GoPro heard me and made a camera of my dreams. Usually I order a lot of equipment from Amazon, but I have a gift card in BestBuy. I decided to buy there.

I bought it yesterday and I'm very excited. In terms of design, it looks like Hero 5, which is probably because I like it. I can even swim 33 feet (and I rarely go to dive). I still have to buy more mountings, such as bicycles and helmets, and mounting the chest. But if you have an earlier version - you can go to it - all previous profiles. (And stabilizer) will fit the new Hero6.

Obviously, the main upgrade is taking 4K images at 60 frames per second (Hero5 can only be 30 frames per second), but not all. It is said that it is true that the previous model I did not know it was true. But this action camera works smoothly. I have not experienced any glitches so far.

It has a touch screen and zoom in, which allows me to digitally zoom. There is also an electronic image stabilizer which is not the best in my opinion. I've seen some YouTube videos taken on Hero5, and I'm not saying they improve stability. My video is slightly shaking, I will not say this video is broken. But I hope to see some improvements here.

The quality of the video is great all day and evening. It may not be worth the price, but it's a great price (even for the iPhone and Note 8). If you have a Hero5 you do not need to upgrade. If you are looking for a great camera, I think Hero6 may be your choice. I like it and I do not regret buying it.
